Permits & Licenses

All Business, Pet, & Chicken Licenses/Permits expire on December 31st of the issued year, and must be renewed on or after January 1st. Please Contact Town Hall for any necessary Permit/License Applications or if you have any questions.
  • Zoning Compliance Permit Information
    • For full explanation and all information regarding Zoning Compliance within Town limits, see Title 17: Zoning of the Town Ordinances.
    • Zoning Compliance Permit Fee –$75
    • Although the Town does not have building codes, a zoning compliance permit is required prior to any new construction. A zoning compliance permit application is available at the Town Hall. The zoning compliance officer will review your plans and onsite preparation prior to approval.
    • Commercial properties are subject to state building codes and must be approved by a state inspector.
  • Business License Information

    • All businesses within Town limits must acquire a Business License.
      • A regular business license requires a $30 annual fee.
    • Beer, Wine, & Liquor License Information
      • A copy of your State License must be submitted with your Business License Application.
      • A ‘Beer & Wine Permit’ costs an additional $110 .
      • An ‘Alcohol Permit’ costs an additional $110.
      • A ‘Weekend Vendor Permit’ is available for $10.
  • Animal License and Permit Information

    • Dog License Basic Information — Title 6: Animals, Chapter 6.08
      • All dogs living within Town limits must have a valid Dog License for the year.
      • Dog licenses require proof of  Rabies Vaccination.
      • Dog License Fees
        • $7 — Fixed
        • $20 — Non-Fixed
    • Chicken Permit Basic Information — Title 6: Animals, Chapter 6.20
      • Up to 6 female chickens.
      • Must have an adequate chicken coop.
      • NO male chickens within Town limits.
      • Chicken Permit Fee — $10
